Full details soon...
December 8, 2018 - Our Annual Holiday Dinner/Guest Speaker event with guest
speaker Cornell Christianson!

Saturday, December 8, 2018
Community Room at Brookdale
60 Bergen Avenue · Teaneck, NJ

Cornell Christianson:
Our special guest speaker will be sci-fi playwright Cornell Christianson who grew
up in Fair Lawn, NJ. and has two Emmy Awards. He has written a 1950s sci-fi
musical-comedy "It Came From Beyond" which is currently playing Off Broadway at
St. Luke's Theatre on 46th St at 8th Ave. The musical is a homage to 1950s sci-fi
movies and includes film clips from "Invaders From Mars" (1953), "Kronos" (1957),
"Devil Girl From Mars" (1954 ) and "Destination Moon" (1950). He will discuss 1950s
sci-fi films and lead us in a fun quiz that tests your knowledge of those films.

Please begin arriving at 6:30pm. Dinner will be at 7pm with our guest taking the
stage at 8pm. Bring whatever is easier for you to bring - an appetizer, entree,
snacks, beverages or paper goods.

Sure to be a fun night.  Please begin arriving at 6:30pm.  Dinner will be at 7pm
and our guest at 8. This is a pot luck type event. Please bring either a food item
(entree, appetizer, snacks, desserts) or beverages. If you have any food allergies
please tell us the night of the event or bring your own food to avoid any
mishaps.  We will also have an annual favorite - The Swap Table.  Swap Table is
for items people are looking to "give a new home" to. Books, CDs, DVDs,
collectibles, etc. have found new homes. These items are free for the taking -
those books and movies that are cluttering your house might be welcomed by
someone else.
