authors appeared at the Borders Express at Paramus Park on Saturday. Patricia
Bray was missing, but S.C. (Sam) Butler, Barbara Campbell, Laura Anne Gilman,
Jackie Kessler, Joshua Palmatier and Anton Strout were there. The SFSNNJ has had
Sam Butler as a speaker and Jackie Kessler not only has come down to Suspense
Central to discuss one of her books, but will also be the guest at Face The Fiction in
March 2010. The SFSNNJ were represented well; we had a great time talking with the
authors about not only their own books, but also J.K. Rowling and the like. A truly
great event; a fun time was had by all. Addendum: The authors worked very hard to
put that event together. They put time and effort into getting together and scheduling
events at different venues. It was nice seeing Jackie and Sam, and great meeting
several new authors (who have since signed on as upcoming guests). We had a nice
afternoon catching up and talking about each authors new books and scheduled
readings/sigings. (AM)
